There are many employers in the area who are always looking for full and part-time staff. The Galloway School of English can help you find work.

If you are a citizen of the EU economic area then you do not require a work permit.

If you are not a citizen of the EU economic area and are studying for MORE than 25 weeks then you can only work part-time or during holidays.
You must NOT:

• work more than 20 hours per week during your study period
• do business or be self-employed
• work full-time or in a permanent job

If you are not a citizen of the EU economic area and are studying for LESS than 25 weeks:

• You must ask the Entry Clearance Officer for permission.
